Childcare Team
Excellent staff are the most important element of any nursery. Our staff have been employed on the basis of their qualifications, professional experiences, and development as well as their dedication to providing the highest standard of childcare. Our recruitment procedure includes interviews, reference checks and trials as well as enhanced DBS Checks.
At Playtime all our staff are trained in Child Protection, Food Hygiene, Prevent Duty, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The majority of the team have a First Aid Qualification. There is always a First Aider in every room and always on sight.
We provide training and development for our staff team as well as continuously evaluating our practice. The majority of our staff are level three qualified, and a number maintain degrees in Early Years Education and Special Educational Needs, or are working towards it. Playtime provides apprentice level three training, which allows our staff to gain experience and earn payment in the workplace while learning.
